🎓 About the Program
The U-Go Scholarship Program 2025-26 is an initiative by U-Go, designed to provide financial assistance to young women pursuing professional undergraduate courses. This scholarship supports students in teaching, nursing, pharmacy, medicine, engineering, architecture, law, and similar fields. Recipients can receive up to INR 60,000 ($750) per year for a duration of up to four years.
U-Go, a non-profit organization based in California, USA, aims to empower ambitious young women in India to complete their education, reduce dropout rates, and build self-reliant futures.
📌 Eligibility Criteria
- Open to young women pursuing professional graduation courses in teaching, nursing, pharmacy, medicine, engineering, architecture, law, etc.
- Applicants must be studying in any year except the final year of their graduation program.
- Minimum 70% marks in Class 10 and 12 examinations.
- Annual family income must be less than INR 5 lakh.
- Students from across India are eligible.
💰 Scholarship Benefits
- Teaching Courses: INR 40,000 ($500) per year for 2 years.
- Nursing & Pharma Courses: INR 40,000 ($500) per year for 4 years.
- Three-year courses (BCA, BSc, etc.): Up to INR 40,000 ($500) per year for 3 years.
- Engineering, MBBS, BDS, Law, Architecture Courses: INR 60,000 ($750) per year for 4 years.
- Scholarship covers 100% educational expenses including tuition, admission fee, exam fee, books, hostel/mess fees, uniforms, devices, monthly allowance, etc.
📝 Required Documents
- Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and passing certificates
- Government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driver’s License, PAN card)
- Current year admission proof (fee receipt, admission letter, college ID, bonafide certificate)
- Family income proof (ITR, Form-16, income certificate, salary slips)
- Payment receipts for academic expenses
- Bank account details of the applicant
- Recent passport-sized photograph
