🎓 About the Program
The L’Oréal For Young Women in Science Program 2025-26 is designed to support female postgraduate students across India in fields such as Technology, Science, Pharma, Life Sciences, and Biotechnology. The program aims to empower young women to pursue research, innovation, and academic excellence.
The scholarship covers financial support for tuition, research, living expenses, and devices to help students focus on their studies and contribute to scientific advancements in their respective fields.
📌 Eligibility Criteria
- Open to female students only.
- Applicants must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in their undergraduate course.
- Applicants’ annual family income should not exceed INR 6,00,000.
- Applicants must be pursuing post-graduation (any year) in Technology, Science, Pharma, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, etc., except final-year students.
- Students from PAN India can apply.
- Children of employees of L'Oréal India and Buddy4Study are not eligible.
- Final selection is contingent upon submission of an admission letter from a recognized college/university in India.
💰 Scholarship Benefits
- Scholarship up to INR 1,00,000 per student.
- Covers educational expenses such as tuition, admission fees, exam fees, and books.
- Covers living expenses including hostel fees, mess charges, and uniforms.
- Funding for essential devices like laptops, mobiles, and other academic equipment.
- Monthly allowance for research or academic projects.
- Supports participation in scientific conferences, workshops, and extracurricular activities related to science.
📝 Required Documents
- Proof of identity and address (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, etc.)
- Self-attested copy of parents’ income proof (Income Certificate, Salary Slip, or Form 16)
- Photos of Class 10th and 12th marksheets
- Available semester/year mark sheet
- Proof of admission at current institution (Admission Letter/Institution ID Card)
- Receipts for current academic year expenses
- Certificates for science-related extracurricular activities (if applicable)
- Statement of Purpose (SoP)
- Recent passport-sized photograph
- If the result of the last semester is awaited, the preceding semester mark sheet will be considered.
